ARiES-12
ARiES-12 range of ring main equipment has been specifically designed with ease of installation and operation in mind. ARiES-12 is a solid dielectric, maintenance free, touch proof design.
The ring main equipment is made up of various combinations containing load break switch disconnectors and a vacuum circuit breaker. Operator safety is the heart of the design with its clear mimic, robust interlocks and padlocking facilities preventing unauthorised operation.
The load break switch with cable earthing facility adopts a vacuum load break switch and three-position disconnector combination with fault make earthing switch. Reliable mechanical interlocking between vacuum load break switch and disconnector prevents misuse.
The circuit breaker adopts a vacuum circuit breaker and three position disconnector combination with fault make earthing switch. Reliable mechanical interlocking between vacuum circuit breaker and disconnector prevents misuse.

Combination examples
ARiES-12 ring main equipment can be supplied in many different configurations, from 1-way to 5-way in one cubicle.
it can be easily extended which allows an additional ring main unit, a circuit breaker or a single switch to be connected to the existing unit without the requirement for extended power outages or cable rework.
As an option, ARiES-12 can be supplied complete with remote operation on the load break switches and vacuum circuit breakers, thus providing a remote control facility for all circuits.
